I LOVE Magnolias...
{A magnolia my husband picked for me in our old neighborhood}
I'm actually kind of weird with the blooms because I just put them in front of my face and smell and say "ahhhh" and "Oh my gosh this smells soooo good" for an awkwardly long period of time. (You can read about my obsession with them here) But I can't wait to have some of my own!! Enjoy your day!!

Such a beautiful tree! I was so sad when we had to tear down this HUGE old one at our new house last week -it was bad for the house (planted RIGHT up against it!). house or tree...hmmmmm

Happy Birthday! I love the smell of magnolias. We have a big one that the kids call "the climbing tree". I always thought that could be my first candle.
HappY BirthdaY, Lauren!!!!!!! Trees are one of my favorite gifts!! We have a "gifted" ginkgo in our front that makes me smile every time I pull in or out of the driveway. Did you know that inhaling the scent of a beautiful bloom and being fully in that moment is one of the secrets to a happy life? ;)
