Simple Pleasures Friday

Evening walks...

...are the best.

Have you been on one lately?

It's something that can happen almost any day but sometimes I feel so "busy" that I forget about talking walks with my family & get out of the habit.  I'm going to try to remember the mental exhale a good walk gives me.

Have an amazing weekend!!

xoxo, Lauren

I'm lucky there's nothing like a dog to make you remember to slow down and simply enjoy what's around you. Your boy looks cute walking under the trees.

They are the best, in the summer I try to fit on in with the family and dog every night. Lots of people out in the hood at parks and on their porches, too fun to miss! Enjoy yours...Janell

I already walked 9 miles this week....and feel great. I think when we walk, it gives us time to live in the moment. All 9 miles of moments. My goal is 12 for the week!

I tend to walk in the mornings, but maybe an after dinner walk is in order this weekend.

Thanks doll,

I agree, a simple walk really does clear the mind...and luckily for you that walk looks gorgeous!

agreed. Walking clears the mind and soothes the soul. It's good for all 2 legged and 4! Have a lovely weekend.

That looks like a lovely walk... I love tree covered walks and roads. Usually do morning walks, but have been doing more evening walks after the sun has gone down -- this summer has been so hot here!
