Signing Off Early

I've cleared my desk off for the weekend and it feels soooo good.  I'm home with my boys and just picked a couple of fresh yellow roses (well, one's sort of on its way out) and popped them in my favorite orange vase.  (a wedding gift.)

I've been keeping my little "One Line a Day" memory book - which I bought as a prop for the showhouse- on my desk this week and have been writing in it.

We told Christian about the tooth fairy the other day for the first time:

{He was in utter shock that a fairy comes into kids rooms at nights and leaves them money.}

This weekend I'm hosting my cousin's bridal shower with mom and her bachelorette party Saturday night with the other bridesmaids.  Should be a good time & I'll share pics next week.  She & her fiance are such a perfect match and I'm so happy for them.

Have a great weekend!!! :)

xoxo, Lauren

ps- I'd love to do a room with that aqua, orange & yellow color palette!!

It sounds like you will be quite the busy girl this weekend.
I just love how kids are so expressive and have such a teachable spirit. You will remember those moments forever.

Such a great idea Lauren! Everyone told me to keep a journal of all the sweet things my little buddy says but I knew I wouldn't keep up with it, so that's why I started my blog Baylor Says...now I am motivated by decorating (sadly?) to make a daily note of something precious from his mouth. I already love looking back!

Have a wonderful weekend!

I want the tooth fairy BACK at our house. That was so much fun. Except for the time that I forgot and had to frantically figure out how I was going to get the money under her pillow without her knowing. We had good laughs after she was old enough to know about the tooth fairy and we remembered that time. Good times!!

Marthaandash.com. Or check out Martha&Ash on Etsy. They solved my drape issues!!! I was obsessed with horizontal striped drapes! You see them in design mags, but PB, West Elm, etc. haven't caught on yet!! Great quality at good prices!!!
