Tracy Porter $250 Giveaway!

{Tracy Porter's little cutie pie}

While at the Design Blogger's Conference in LA a little while back, I got to meet one of the most inspiring, energetic & gorgeous women I've ever met in my life: Tracy Porter

{Just love her style!!}

Tracy's philosophy is all about being true to yourself and getting inspired by everything around you.  She's so excited about life, which comes accross so clearly when you read her blog or meet her.  Tracy designs and sells her own lines of clothing, jewelry, accessories, rugs, lighting, furniture & home decor.  When Tracy contacted me about doing a giveaway on Pure Style Home, I was so excited.  She's giving one of our readers a $250 gift certificate for her store, which you can view here.  There are so many products to choose from but I wanted to share a few of my favorites with you.  (ie the things I covet ;)

{I looooove this fish bone pendant!!  So detailed, which is a trademark of her style.}

{awesome cocktail ring = rrrrrar}

{This rug gives me a good feeling.  I'm not sure what it is about it, but somehow it reminds me of something from my childhood that I just can't quite place.  love it}

{Dying to use these Empress Wing Chairs in a project!}

{Oh yes...  see the details?!}

{ahhhhh    so romantic!!}

{I love the femining details on these boots}

{Silvered lantern, yes please!}

And finally, I love this pic of Tracy & one of her (4!) sons:

{Green floral Hoodie = perfection!!}

I think it's so amazing to see people going after their dreams and creating something special & personal.  If you haven't checked out Tracy's blog, click here and be sure to check out her videos.

To enter the giveaway for a chance to win $250 to spend at Tracy Porter.com, just leave a comment in the comments section telling us about a simple pleasure you like to enjoy...  Just something small that makes you happy. The giveaway will be up all week!

xoxo, Lauren

ps- A simple pleasure I like to indulge in is eating outside.  My husband surprised me today (Sunday) by picking me up from a long day at the DC Design House with a picnic dinner and it was just awesome.  There's something about being outside that seems to make food taste better.

If you'd like help creating a home you absolutely love, contact me about our design services.

Simple pleasures are moments stolen to myself. I'm a pretty busy lady so I enjoy getting a chance to snooze and dream in a sunbeam late in the afternoon or a moment to stop at the beach and eat a bag lunch on my way back to the office.

I enjoy curling up on the sofa with my husband at the end of the day, reading a good book, drinking a cup of tea. Enjoying the quiet at the end of the day.

my simple pleasure is a great cup of coffee and waking up with the birds, watching them flock out my kitchen window. This morning I got to see a baby bunny out my window enjoying her breakfast. I'm so grateful to my husband for giving us a great place in the country for our twin girls to grow!

My simple pleasure is a cup (or two!) of tea first thing in the morning. It's not like a need like some people NEED coffee, but I wait until my 3-year-old daughter is watching Sesame Street. She gets so enthralled with the show, that I actually get a quiet hour to enjoy my tea while reading the newspaper. Thanks for the giveaway!!!

Brittany said...

We have a great view from our living room and (during the summer) it is my goal to get the three babies here in bed before sunset. Watching the sun go down behind the mountains in a quiet house (sometimes with a glass of wine...) is pure peace.

It's finally spring and time to enjoy one of my absolute favorites- walking on a wooden dock! The hollow sound as you walk on the wood with the ocean underneath, the "jangling" from the riggings on the sailboats in their docks, the sound of seagulls, of the ocean, of happy people and of course; the smell! Nothing quite like it!

Hm, simple pleasures...how about enough time to do everything I need to do? This week, especially. But I don't think Tracy Porter sells time. On the other hand, I could probably make much better use of my time if I could do it in one of her gorgeous blouses or dresses. Never know til you try, anyway. :)

I absolutely love to take a walk on the beach to go shell seeking~ it is so peaceful and renews my soul. The beach I go to is at Assateague island in MD. It also holds a special meaning for me, as this is where my husband proposed to me--he hid the ring in a beautiful shell that he planted on the beach--wouldn't that have been funny if someone else found it first! (although in Dec, not many shell seekers on the beach)

Simple pleasure? Every Tuesday I pick up my grandson from school. He's nearly 11 now, but we started when he was just five. I take him wherever he wants to go. He loves animals, so sometimes it's just as simple as the pet store....sometimes the book store, toy store, library..... movie. Whatever his little heart desires. Then we go to dinner and I take him home. He calls it his special day and doesn't like anything to interfere. I look forward to it all week too. Just some time for the two of us. I'm over the moon about this little guy.

Warm blessings,
Spencer

I love to take a cat nap on our sofa with the warmth of the sun shining on me. Those few moments of sleep are really revitalizing! Thanks for the giveaway.

I love to walk my dog in the park and watch people smile at him. He has a huge, adorable head that just seems to amuse other walkers. Often they stop and ask what kind of dog he his and where he got his oversized head--and they leave laughing!

One of my favorite simple pleasures is reading your blog! It's a nice little respite from whatever else I have going on and I always leave feeling inspired. Add my first morning cup of coffee to the experience and I know my day is off to a good start!

I have two simple pleasures that when combined are a huge win. I adore getting dressed up in the day time. For no reason, just to go shopping, or eat lunch, just cuz I can.

And the other. Is a good sandwich. Lovely fresh bread, some sort of pest smear, fresh veg, delicious cheese and meat. Nothing better.

My boys are teenagers now and I savor the evenings when they are both home and want to play board games with me. We add our own silly twists to the rules and nothing is better than all of us laughing together.

I love Tracy's, well most everything...the boots above are great!!
My my little slice of happiness is when I am riding my motorcycle on a road I have never been on, no time crunch, and can just soak it all in...Gods creation, the scenery, birds flying above and little critters off to the side of the road...ahh Happy Place!

My simple pleasure is sitting on my deck at sunset, watching the clouds and sky change, listening to the frogs chatter and catching a glimpse of the deer as they nibble their way through our meadow. Signs of summer!
Love all things TP...great giveaway!

A simple pleasure for me is sipping hot cocoa while reading a favorite magazine or blog. I heart chocolate and I am addicted to fashion and home magazines.

My simple pleasure is having a bit of time before I turn the lights off to read. Just a couple minutes can be such a treat after a day of chasing kiddos.

For me it's a cup of coffee---by myself. Yet, with three kiddos and a full-time job (and a husband on the road 5 days a week), the only time I can get this is in the wee hours of the morning. I make my coffee at 5am. Then if it's nice out---like it's starting to be---woo hoo---I sit on my front stoop and wait for the paper man. He's always a little freaked out to see me there---just sipping my cup o'joe and waiting for the days news. So lovely. So peaceful. Even if for only 20 minutes or so.
