Love it! Take the grinder thing out, place a glass top on the base and it would be an interesting side table
love to see an arrangement of golden wheat inside!

Nice piece. The name would depend on its origin, do you know where it is from?

Excited about your store Lauren!
That really is beautiful, Lauren. What a unique find. I love all of the intricate detailing on such a utilitarian item...shows someone really loved it and took pride in the most simplest of things.
What a great find! Love those little accents in a home that are conversation starters.

It looks a lot prettier than mine but I am thankful that mine plugs into the wall.
Very cool!!
P.S. David is going to be in Virginia for 10 days, leaving Wed. I told him he should visit you but he is too shy!! He will be seeing Gettysburg and then a short visit back to DC and then to Charlottesville, etc.
I am going home to visit my family the day after he gets back. I hate doing a separate vacation but ALL my family is out east and once a year isn't always enough. So this year I am going a second time. He loves Civil War stuff, so I said "why don't you go to Virginia and PA and see all the stuff you missed".
He will have an awesome time. Meant to email you. I wanted to let you know in case he ever ran into car trouble etc. nearby. He never worries about that stuff but I always do!! I told him you are up near the Tyson malls, so he will be passing right by!! If I were with him, we'd be comin' for a visit!!
Hope all is well with the new everythingz...
Talk soon, Terri xox
