A Perfect Porch

I'm a bit rundown/sick today (will be fine after a low-key weekend) so I don't have a post in me but wanted to send you over to Michele Ginnerty's blog My Notting Hill today.  She did an awesome post on our friend Anne Hardock's beautiful screened-in porch and gardens.  You will not be disappointed and having been there in person, it's really one of the most special places ever...

Check it out Anne's porch & gardens here and have a happy weekend!!

  1. Sorry to hear you are sick. That is a bummer. Hopefully rest and plenty of sleep will get you up and running again. I usually take Emergen-C packets. I feel they really help. You can mix them with water or juice. Packs a punch that your immune system needs!

I have already seen that post on Notting Hill. To have a porch like that to relax on would be heavenly. Better yet to have a vacation home with a porch like that would be "living It".

  5. Hi, Lauren,
I am thinking of you! :)
When my two boys were your boys' ages, I thought that I had had a good day when I got the boys dressed and myself showered. I am serious!!
Hope you have a lovely weekend full of naps by everybody. That is my foolproof prescription for new moms.
    xo, Anne
ps Thanks for your very sweet words about the porch. As soon as this oppressive heat passes, we'll go out there and chill.

  10. Hi Lauren, so sorry to hear your not feeling well. I havn't seen you for awhile and was just checking to make sure all was well with you and the family. Your blog looks GREAT!!!!! I havn't checked it out for a while, as the shop has been so busy that I am lucky if I get the time to check out my own, but that is a good thing for the shop. I have missed stopping by your blog . As always it is one of the best and I can see as always you have been busy. Well you take care and get well soon. I will be looking forward to seeing you this summer if you have a chance to stop by the shop. Keep up the good work.
