I'm So Excited!!!!

I just ordered our new dining room chandelier!!! It's made from coconut beads and is half off at Anthropologie. It reminds me a bit of Nina Griscom's ($5000) branchelier:

Obviously that's a bit out of our price range... ;) When my friends gave me a gift card for my birthday, I found the coco-bead chandlier & was in love. To be honest, few people in my "real life" seem to like this chandelier, but I was hoping you design divas would "get it." ;) ;) hahaha

Anyway, I'll be posting pics when it arrives!!

xoxo,

lauren

  3. I like it very much, it's oddly attractive, extremely unique. I like it much better than the $5000 branch chandelier (that's nice too, but not as appealing to me). And don't you like it in a way that your family/friends are not wild about it? You watch, it's going to grow on them! Once it makes a home with you, the magic begins to take place. You'll start to hear comments such as "It's not that bad." "It looks nice here but it's not for me." "I actually like it now."

  13. It's very orignial...I'm sure that if you like it, it does not matter that I do not. hehehe. I don't think I'm into the branch type chandlers. Sigh. I'm sure YOU'LL love it though. Have a great one!

  14. Oh yay! I ran into this on their website just yesterday and saw it was a great deal. And hey, my "real life" friends don't "get" a lot of the stuff I do in my home (and none of it's nearly as kooky as a coco-bead chandelier!), so I don't worry about what they think! Can't wait to see how it looks in its new home in your new home!

  17. I'm so in love with this light that I even dreamed about it last night... the light was so big it had to be delivered by a semi and I had no idea how I was going to fit it in our house! Then all of the sudden I was rock climbing with my husband... hmm...
