Lauren..I too have been so enamored with silhouettes lately. I love the crisp look of black and white together. I wish I had kept the ones my parents had made of us way back in the sixties! If you are not a do it yourselfer check out Etsy at www.etsy.com. They have several artists who will create a custom one for amazingly reasonable prices or you can purchase ones of strangers (?) Great post and guest post also.
Lauren I started doing silouhettes of my boys visits to Disney land. I just had them do it on the blank side and had them professionally framed. It is so fun to see their little faces change. With boys the first noticeable change is in their jaw line and nose. Too fun. They are a treasure to have and a fun growth chart so to speak,Kathysue
